Andrea Ponte is a Ph.D. candidate in Cybersecurity and Reliable Artificial Intelligence at the University of Genova. He received the BSc and MSc (with Honors) degrees in Computer Engineering at the University of Genova in 2021 and 2023, respectively.
He received a double MSc Degree in Innovative and Interdisciplinary Engineering at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC), Barcelona, in 2023. He developed his master's thesis during an internship at Damen Naval Shipbuilding (Netherlands), collaborating with the University of Genova and the Delft University of Technology (TU Delft).
His main research topics cover Trustworthy AI for Industrial Applications, particularly Adversarial Machine Learning and Robustness applied to Malware Detection and AI certification, and AI applications in the Maritime Industry.
