Simone Maurizio La Cava - PhD student
Simone Maurizio La Cava received a BSc Degree in Biomedical Engineering in February 2019 with a grade of 110/110 cum laude, discussing the thesis entitled “Spectral analysis, connectivity analysis and classification of the EEG signal in focal and generalized epileptic seizures” (supervisor Matteo Fraschini).
He then received his M.S. Degree in Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence in September 2021 with a grade of 110/110 cum laude, discussing the thesis “Effects of tasks and brain disorders on EEG-based biometrics: an investigation on Parkinson’s disease and major depressive disorder” (supervisor Luca Didaci).
From 2019 to 2021 he collaborated with Matteo Fraschini in the study of brain signals. Since October 2021 he is a Ph.D. student at the PRA Lab (supervisor Gian Luca Marcialis).
